iPhone not recognize Magic Trackpad 2

Hi,

I want to control my iPhone XS, iOS 14.6 using Magic trackpad 2.

I’ve tried many times to recognized it using bluetooth but its not showed on the device list although my ipad pro can recognize it easily.

I’ve tried to pair it by bluetooth - assisitive touch - switch control but none of them worked.

Can anyone support me please ?

Thank you,

Best regards.

iPhone XS, iOS 14

Miss Smartie Partie,

The article you mentioned is absolutely the right one but it seems that the wording in it is confusing, at least to me. One could read it as "You must connect with a cable first" while another could read it as "But if you have a Bluetooth device, you could do this".

TrongTranDuc,

Is this Magic Trackpad 2 already associated with another device, e.g. your Mac? If the trackpad has never been associated with a device, then Miss Smartie Partie is perfectly right: you need to first connect the trackpad using a cable (so that your device recognizes it) before you can use it wirelessly.

If the trackpad is already associated with another device, you must use that device to "forget" it. Then you should be able to use Bluetooth only to connect it to your iPhone.
