I disabled my phone forgot apple id password now phone back & running how do I get my messages I lost?

At this point, you would get them via a backup that you have been making to either iCloud or iTunes. Obviously, based on your post, the iCloud option would be non-applicable.

Also, by "messages," are you referring to iMessages, SMS text messages, or email messages?
