My Itunes Playlists disappared

Dear Community,

This is the third time this happens. After hours of work creating a playlist that I was planing to use at an offering for a performance, all of a sudden the playlist disappears and it is no where to be found. This is so frustrating that this happens. to have to start from scratch to recreate the entire playlist feels like.........

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
