Ive just bought a new iPad and the GarageBand and voice memo app isn’t recording. I’ve recorded a video and it works. Sounds are picked up and recorded, just not in the app. Please help!! Lots of hours has been spent on trying to figure this out

Looks like you are having some trouble with getting GarageBand to record your audio. We want to help get that issues resolved! Try checking to make sure that app has permission to use your mic: Control access to hardware features on iPhone. The previous article states it is for iPhones, but the settings are in the same place for the iPad.
