Yes, it has palm rejection. When using the Apple pencil, you can rest your hand on your iPad without interrupting whatever it is you are working on.

The 8th gen iPad uses the 1st gen Pencl with the silver, chromed top cap/band with a Lightning connector protective, magnetic cap.

So, to answer your question? Yes.
