No phone is waterproof, certainly not iPhones. They never claimed them to be.
They have some water resistance equivalent to IP67 or IP68 but the resistance is not permanent and not guaranteed.
Read the whole message and not just the up front message from the ad men.
but it should be waterproof, why is damaged ? and i only have it for 1 year
