My time machine is not backing up my email
For some reason my time machine is not longer backing up emails. It shows continual backups but I cannot access anything on it. What should I do?

You restore the mail app or mail folders, not specific messages.
When I click on a mailbox and then enter time machine..it shows nothing different...no matter how far I go back. So it's not bringing up any past emails or versions even if it "shows" it's on that date. And if I try clicking on restore..nothing happens
Assuming you mean the folder in mail.. yes was on that and it does not show any updates. not trying to restore one message, just everything in that folder from a particular time. Just not working any more. Shows it's backing up but I really don't think it is working correctly. I've tried opening a folder, entering Time Machine and going back months... It will still display only the information that is there now.. nothing changes. SO, should I just wipe out the seagate and just start over or is there an issue with the new MAC OS and Time machine?
It baks up EVERYTHING including e-mail, what leads you to believe it is not?
