After a year of owning a new 5s iPhone, the camera has inexplicably stopped working and shows a black screen.
I have troubleshot by turning it off and on and even factory resetting it. For a moment the camera worked after factory resetting it but then it froze and went to black again.
What can I do? Buy a new phone solely for a camera?

Thanks, Chris. It's actually a iPhone SE. I was reading this happens to a lot of iPhones. I'll look into contacting Apple Support.
