hi, i bought the latest ipad air recently, under student discount. apparently im supposed to receive free airpods upon purchasing it (?) if so, i didn’t get any. is it supposed to be a promotion for a limited time period ?

but i did purchase it from the apple education store, the add on purchase option for airpods were there but at retail price. so i did not select it.
