There are various online ('cloud') storage services, and some offer a free level - iCloud gives you 5 GB, Dropbox 2GB, Google 15GB. Of these iCloud provides the best integration with Apple devices, and can be signed into in system Preferences or Settings/iCloud. The others are separate apps which you can downloadn and install. In allcases there are increasing levels of storage which have to be paid for.
Just to be clear, this is online storage. If does not expand the storage on your devices. And the storage on iOS devices cannot be increased.
