I just did that and they said it’s a device internal set up lol this is stupid

As that is a Cellular provider service, you would need to contact them to determine if that change is possible.

VoiceMail (Visual or Normal) is a Carrier Specific feature. Contact your Carrier (Cellular Service Provider), the agency that issued the SIM / eSIM to you.
