Is there an adaptor so that we can use our lightening chargers/cords for the ipad air 4th gen.?

purchase a USB-C to Lightning Cable, either from Apple or from third parties, like Amazon, Anker electronics OR Belkin.
These can come in 1m, 2m, 3m lengths depending on who makes the cable.
Buy a cable, instead.

The problem I am seeing, and reading, is that many of these adapters will only work for audio and not for charging, or that the charge time is greatly reduced when using an adapter. It would be most helpful if I can be referred to actual products based on someone's real work experience. Apple does not make a lightening female to usb-c male adapter. Thanks!
