updates for my apple shuffle 2 gen

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you'd like to know if there are updates available for your iPod shuffle. If so, we'd like to share some information with you. The best step to take is to connect your iPod Shuffle to a computer that has either iTunes or Finder on a fully updated Mac. From either iTunes or Finder (depending if you have a fully updated Mac), select your device and then click the Summary tab. From there, it will display your current software version. If an update is available, the option to click on "Update" will be present. If it's not there, this means that there are no updates available for your device.
