Hi RWMorgan,

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you have a question about the Apple Card. We're happy to get you in the right direction to help.

If you're looking to share the account with family, you can set up co-owners and participants with the steps here: Set up Apple Card Family and add a co-owner and participants

While we're not seeing details for merging accounts, you can view management steps here: Manage your Apple Card account along with information to close one account should you choose the Family Sharing / Co-owner route: How to close your Apple Card account

Cheers!

The Apple website says this is possible. But we haven’t been able to do it and no one seems able to tell us how to do it. We keep getting an error. We spoke with support on the phone today and they said they don’t know. Goldman Sachs doesn’t know either.

The notes on the Apple Card pages say you can merge two accounts and combine available credit on the accounts but the person on the phone told me I had to cancel my account.

I have never had such a headache with a credit card. And now because my wife and I both have Apple cards, we also cannot add each other as authorized users on our cards.

it would be nice if someone from Apple actually knew the answer to this.
