iCloud photo loss

Hello,

I've had 4 years of photos vanish from my iPhone, icloud.com. I was in the process of downloading my photos from my old phone to my new one and instead my new phone photos overwrote my old phone and I lost all my photos. They are not on icloud.com, my deleted items, iphotos or either phones.

I am VERY upset. The first person I spoke with at Apple Care (Jacinta Robin) said engineering could recover my photos but then she never got back to me. Every Apply associate I've spoken with since says they can't do anything....this doesn't seem right. There must be a way to recover my lost photos...please HELP!

iCloud photos missing on all Apple devices Nine months photos just disappeared from icloud, gone from all devices. Not deleted by me, not hidden, same icould account all devices. Apple support don't know why and can't rescue them. It is photos from June last year to March this year, so not even resent photos.
