Can Sidecar be used with two different MacBooks (one for home, one for work)?

I use a MacBook for home, and a different MacBook for work. Sidecar works with the MacBook for home, but it doesn't show up as an option for the MacBook for work (the newest MacBook Pro so I know it's compatible). I'm guessing it has something to do with the fact that I use a different Apple ID for each. If so, is there a way to use Sidecar with two different MacBooks, each with their own Apple ID?
