Can I track my stolen MacBook?

I had my Mac computer stolen from me several months ago I’m just now finding out, and was wondering if you could be able to track it down if your Mac has a history with apple?

Not possible. Unless you turned on Findmymac before it was stolen.

Start with reporting to the police department nearest where it was stolen and give them your serial number.

Call AppleCare and inform them the serial number.

With the several month lag, odds are small that you will be able to get it back.

There is also Lojack for your Mac, but again, this must be installed before it gets stolen.
