It looks like a BT Hub is a standard WiFi hub, or router. Generally if there is WiFi on the BT hub, it will have a standard password to connect to it written on the label on the hub. Contact BT if you were supposed to get documentation on it.

Many hubs also have an ethernet connection.

Mac Pros are desktops

Macbook Pros are laptops

Recent MacBook Pros and Mac Pros did not come with ethernet connections but could be adapted to ethernet through a USB-C to ethernet adapter. Once connected to ethernet, you can usually get the router address off Apple menu -> System Preferences -> Network, and use that address on a web browser to edit the router configuration. Be sure to use BT's own manual, or ask for assistance to setup the router if you want to add a shared printer on it, or customize your passwords for it.

Most Epson printers have a USB port that takes a USB printer cable.

Become familiar with the ports on printers, routers, and cables with the following images:

Note: USB-B on the right end is usually the port on the printer end.

And below is the Mac's USB-C:

Knowing the ports from the above illustrations, what ports do you have available to you on what devices?

Are you going to want to print wirelessly?

Do you have multiple machines you want to access the printer wirelessly in house, and what are they?
