Can iPhones be hacked?

My phone seems to get a mind of its own and I have no control on commands. All of a sudden apps start opening and automatic texting starts. It’s like there’s a ghost operating my phone. Can iPhones be hacked? I have an iPhone X

iPhone hacked what can be done to get back Hi my iPhone se has been hacked and I know it’s been hacked because I can watch my text message come in on my screen and then disappear into thin air. How can someone do that to the iPhone? I thought they weren’t able to be hacked? I have done 3 factory resets and nothing helped they are still controlling my phone. Please help losing everything and I can’t afford to have my a new phone please please
