i got a mac charger and it just stopped working is there anyway that i can get another one without paying full price for it again

Keep in mind any signs of fraying, or over bending of the wire or liquid damage will likely not be covered unless you bought accident protection. And the charger came with the device being warrantied.
Secondly, if this is an older model, there are third party sources, many of whom are knockoff, or the wrong wattage.

It has been my experience that users over bend the cable when wrapping around the L shaped ends on many of the charger blocks. It is better to let it lie loose in a ziplock bag than try to wrap it too closely.
