Hello,

I had the same issue, got it fixed by turning off Dolby Atmos in Settings>Music.

whenever this option is on Auto it will only play some songs (the ones that are not optimized I guess?)

anyway, hope this helps.

Hello! I also had the same error. Was hoping to try out the spatial audio, but every time I played a song that had Dolby Atmos, this error message always popped up.

I happened to solve it by completely UNINSTALLING the Apple Music app, downloading it again, and it finally worked! No more error messages at all. Hope this helps.

(P.S. I had my Airpods Pro settings to allow spatial audio, as well as my Apple Music settings to "always on" for Dolby Atmos all this time)

Hi danaedamarelos,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities and thanks for letting us know about your Music issue! We'd be glad to see how we can help. We understand that you're experiencing issues when attempting to play content from your Apple Music subscription. Do you also have songs that were purchased individually from the iTunes Store or imported elsewhere with the same issue? Have you noticed if the issue occurs when you're listening to your content locally, streaming, or both? Are you able to connect to another Wi-Fi network and try again?

If you haven't already, we'd also recommend completing the steps in these support articles below:

Restart your iPhone

Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Cheers.

Hello,

On iPhone, delete all your downloaded music. Do NOT delete it from library. The easiest way is, adding all your music into one playlist. Then hold the playlist until menu appears and select delete downloaded music. Then simply redownload playlist. That should fix the problem.

On Mac/iTunes (Windows PC), open your library cmd-a/ctrl a (Windows) to select all. Then right click and in menu select delete downloaded. After that cmd-a/ctrl a (Windows) to select all. Then right click and in menu select download.

That should help you.

Yup still having the same problem, I can’t try the advertised spatial audio at all and the lossless feature as well. I was willing to give Apple Music a shot but I can’t even do the most basic thing of just listening to music in good quality. I’m going to be honest here, since 2015 I have been with Spotify and I have never had an issue with not being able to listen to music, I highly recommend to use Spotify instead of Apple Music. NOT WORTH IT!!!!! Sorry not sorry Apple 🤷‍♂️
