We appreciate those additional details. It sounds like you possibly only deleted the app and didn't fully cancel the subscription. In the resource above titled "How to cancel a subscription from Apple" we found "If you signed up for a free or discounted trial subscription and you don't want to renew it, cancel it at least 24 hours before the trial ends.".
