My wallpaper photos are imprinted with a date and time so appears with this incorrect date and the current date
No it was taken on the phone and not transferred. The incorrect date is imprinted on any photo I try to use as wallpaper.

If you have transferred these photos from other devices then depending on the transfer mode it may have captured transfer date.
