Is it possible to keep this macbook upgraded to El Capitan and remove all traces of my Apple ID?

From what I can tell you can now download El Capitan without an Apple ID so in theory you could erase it and then install El Capitan, using a bootable installer if necessary. However, a purchaser could also download El Capitan and do it by the book.
