loss of alot of my purchased music in iTunes

Hi!

I had somehow accidentally unsubscribed to iTunes and when I got notice that this had happened I quickly re-subscribed using same ID. When I pulled up my iTunes music, alot of my older purchased albums/music was gone! Can I ever retrieve all of that? I had a pretty extensive library of alot of my favorites. I would imagine hundreds of dollars worth of music that is now unavailable to me unless I purchase again?
