Apple Watch not pairing with Apple TV - fitness

Hello, I have 3 new devices

Apple TV 4K, Apple Watch and iPhone 12.

all of these are less then 3 weeks old and all have new updates as of this morning.

i have tried numerous times to connect my Apple Watch to my fitness tv so I can watch the workout on the tv and track it on my watch.

however when I go into the tv and hit my avatar it comes up saying “apple watch unavailable” or pairing cancelled.

has anyone encounters this?

the Bluetooth is tuned on on my phone. Even when I try and mirror it it still just cancels and closes the Apple TV app on my phone?

help please 😳

Are you able to Airplay any other content from your phone to the TV?

Are you able to setup Apple Fitness+ on the TV again through the steps in Set up Apple Fitness+ on Apple TV?
