Disable FaceTime audio ducking on macOS

This question has been asked multiple times since many years and no-one has found any proper solution.

Basically, when on a FaceTime call, audio from other apps is significantly lowered automatically with no way to disable this behavior. I've tried the setting on voiceover utility but it doesn't work.

I've even found a command line solution but it requires me to disable SIP and run a command every time before i make/receive a call. This process is cumbersome and i don't want to turn off SIP. There should be a proper solution, since it has been a decade that people are facing this issue.

Please advise if there is a solution to this.
