I haven’t used the watch for a couple months. Charged it and it is no longer paired with my phone. The app does not have anything on it that I can tap on. It’s the same phone and same watch. Seems unable to recognize each other

Hi there Broadslade,

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. We understand you're having some difficulties using your Apple Watch with your iPhone and we'd be happy to help assist. It appears you came to us from a helpful support article. Were you able to work through the steps in the "Erase Apple Watch if you don't have its paired iPhone" section of the resource? Although you have the paired iPhone, the watch doesn't sound like it is recognizing that connection which is why you'll need to erase the Apple Watch through settings so you can set up again. The bottom of the article below also includes the steps for this process.

Unpair and erase your Apple Watch

If there is nothing showing in the Watch app on your iPhone, we'd suggest first restarting your iPhone and checking the application again. If you're still unable to see any options in the application after restarting, you can uninstall and reinstall the Watch app to your device. The support articles below will provide you with some more information on the steps for that.

Restart your iPhone

Delete apps on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

We hope this helps.
