miles and kilometers in cycling training

When setting kilometers in cycling workout, average speed and distance are no longer displayed. if you include miles - everything works. why is that ?

Once you change the setting, you may need to restart your Apple Watch and its paired iPhone for the setting to take effect:

How to restart your Apple Watch - Apple Support

Restart your iPhone - Apple Support

I'm just guessing (it probably should not be necessary), but try it and see if that helps.
