Sim not valid issue

I have reissued my sim and airtel is my service provider. Now i am not able to use my new sim, it is showing sim not valid as the service provider is not supported. However my previous service provider was also Airtel.

can you help?

If you get an alert that says Invalid SIM or No SIM Card installed, follow the steps in this support document: "If you get an alert about the SIM card in your iPhone"
