Changing verification phone number

I have a new iphone but when I try signing into icloud on the new phone it says it sent a verification code to a number I no longer have. Any ideas how to sort this out please?

Verification codes being sent to old phone number I just switched back to iPhone and when I started downloading all my needed apps all my verification codes are being sent to the phone number I had on my last iPhone before I changed my number. I created a new Apple ID and changes the trusted number but that didn’t fix the problem. Help!! How can I fix this?
