appletv external speaker is not working

Hi

I just wanted to run AppleTV+ on my MacBook Pro. I do have a CalDigit external dock attached with Bowers&Wilkins MM1 speakers and a large display. Playing an AppleTV+ does play the video but no audio! Even switching to internal audio output on my MacBook Pro does not work.

If I remove the dock (attached with all my peripherals) audio is working. Called Apple support and they said well it looks like a security issue and they could not solve my problem (except suggesting to remove external peripherals. Well not very customer friendly this solution.

Not audio issues with other streaming services btw...

Any ideas?
