How can I recover a screen recording which was failed to save due to error code 5823 ?

How can I recover a screen recording which was failed to save due to error code 5823 ?

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. Thanks for reaching out to us with this issue you're having with the screen recording. First, as the recording failed to save there is no way to recover it. Next, you want to make sure you don't run into this issue again. You can check to make sure that there are no restrictions on the app you are trying to record. On your device, go to Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > enter your passcode if prompted > Content Restrictions > Screen Recordings, and make sure its set to Allow. You can find more info on those settings here:
Use Screen Time on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
