Hello, I have FInal Cut Pro X 10.4.8 and Compressor 4.4.7 and I've made a few custom settings in Compressor and can even see them in Library/Application Support/Compressor/Settings but they don't show up when I click on 'Export using Compressor Settings' in Final Cut Pro X.
Could someone help me on this?

I can't run that version of FCP, but in the current version, if I drag Compressor Settings to the sidebar, the dialog appears and the custom settings from Compressor are available.
I have a relocation that this was a problem in earlier versions. It looks like the presets are actually in the application. Just apply any default preset and then change it to the custom settings. What OS is this?
The current versions FCP 10.5.4 and Compressor 4.5.4.

There was a bug in earlier versions of Compressor as I recall. Are you trying to create a Compressor preset for use in FCP? What versions are you using?
My compressor version is 4.5.4
Fcp version is 10.5.2

my HEVC video size is coming larger than h.264 please help me with the compressor settings for HEVC exporting
Is your question related to using Compressor settings in FCP? If so, what settings are you using? If not please start a new thread woth details about your media and what settings you’re using.
I don't know what you're seeing where. The H.264 preset estimates at 6.81GB per hour. Changing the codec to HEVC makes the estimated file size 5.12 GB.
