Bluetooth

We have an Apple iPod from back in 2004 can’t figure out how to get into settings to turn on Bluetooth

On an iPod model that old I doubt that it has Bluetooth. Check this Apple page: Identify your iPod model - Apple Support in order to correctly identify which iPod you have.
