Should I use an adapter to plug in my wired earphones on my iPad 12.9?

Might this cause any problem on the iPad?

The only way to connect wired headphones to a 2018/2020/2021 model of iPad Pro is to use an adapter. Here is Apple’s own adapter:

USB-C to 3.5mm Headphone Jack Adapter
