Mac Big Sur 11.5 - can not reach app store. app comes up blank.

App store app will not connect, screen comes up blank. Have reset computer several times. nothing

iMac 27″, macOS 10.13

If you are having issues connecting with the App Store there are several things you can do. First, try restarting your Wi-Fi network in order to attempt to resolve any network issues. Next, try booting the Mac into Safe Mode and connecting there. If it does not work when booting into Safe Mode you will need to remove any "Anti-Virus" or cleaner software such as "Clean My Mac" or "Mackeeper" as they can actually block the connection between your Mac and the Apple servers.


You can boot to Safe Mode by following these steps: How to use Safe Mode on your Mac.
