Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort - mini display port doesn't fit

Hi,

I have an iMac G4-(flat panel)powermac 4,2 from 2002- 2004. It's running Mac OSX Version 10.4.11. It works slowly but fine and I am attempting to use it as a monitor. I purchased a mini displayport to displayport cable which does not fit. The 20 pin mini displayport that I purchased appears to be too small. Any suggestions on what would work? Thanks

Hello, HarperRoyale.

Sorry, but that Mini VGA connector on the iMac is output only.

The iMac cannot be used as a monitor.
