How to stop/quit/delete iCloud?

I see many people have asked us but I don’t see any answers…

I never signed up for iCloud, and don’t want it, my work requires that any device I use be isolated from cloud services… I don’t want it, never asked for it, but it is stuck on both of my iPads and my phone now apparently….

I cannot find any way to delete or disconnect this annoyance.

even more irritating, I get constant iCloud solicitations to buy more of what I don’t want…

Of course Apple has no customer support so I’m here to ask..

Can anyone tell me how to delete/disconnect/kill the **** iCloud???

Two years ago all of my associates got rid of their book and power book units because of this type of bothersome abuse, and I am about ready to throw two new iPads in the garbage… Shopping for an android phone now…

iPad, iPadOS 14

Just turn it off.

You can sign out completely Settings > Apple ID/profile > Sign Out

Of course, you then lose any protections is you lose your device

Or, sign out of every iCloud connected service

Settings > AppleID/profile > iCloud then toggle off each individual service

cloud is off in settings.

It's likely signed in elsewhere then. Mac? iCloud for Windows?

By having an Apple ID, you have an iCloud account.

Why would your work allow a personal Apple ID to be used? If they require this, do they also have IT directions to disable iCloud services?
