While checking my network for open ports, I realised that iPad is using the Bonjour service for “companion-link_TCP” over port 49153. I don’t use any companion app or don’t sync/back up my iPad over WiFi.
I couldn’t find a decent answer on the use of this port within the previous discussions hence would really appreciate if someone can help.

Yeah just checked the content but I don’t have any Mac on my network that Xsan would be used for filesystem access.
Still not sure what this port is used for and with which device?
Perhaps it’s being used for UDP.
Nope it is being used for TCP
