How do I add my new Ipod to my account? The only device that appears on my list of devices is my cell phone

Welcome to the Apple Community.

To add a device to the list, you need to sign in with your Apple ID.

After you sign in on a device with your Apple ID, that device appears in the list.

You can then scroll down to "Add a Device to the list" for your iPod's iOS..
