Two iPhones

I have two iPhones on the same account, one for work and one for personal. The problem is that they are connected to each other and I don’t want them to be. How do I separate the two?

iPhone 8, iOS 14

If you want them truly separate you need to use a different Apple ID on one of them. Either that or stop using iCloud on one of them. iCloud wants to make sure everything signed in with a particular Apple ID has the same content.

Note that you cannot later merge ID content, at least not easily. Plus you may need to set up Family Sharing if you don't want to have to buy apps again for the other ID. Here are some items that may help you with all this:

Look into using Family Sharing to continue to be able to use items purchased with one Apple ID with other Apple IDs.
