How do I activate Noise Cancelation with my Apple ear pods? Must I be bluetoothed to my iPhone11?

Thanks, but even with all iPhone settings matching your Bluetooth example, and hearing what ANC is suppose to in the sample, mine still has nothing to block out distracting noise. I’m disappointed in my newly purchased ear pods. I can’t figure it out.
