Kernel Task Issues

My MB Pro 15 2018 had issues with kernel task for months. I was about to wipe the machine when I looked under it. The vents under the keyboard had been completely clogged by dust from my own desk. I used a sophisticated tool to clean the clog (a toothpick). After I cleaned the vents for the fans, the underside below the keyboard. Problem solved! the machine now runs with a very low kernel task no more issues. Machine is running smooth and quiet as a kitten.
