I’m seeing the crescent moon next to just one contact on my iPhone 12 Pro and cannot figure out how to turn it off. It’s deactivated in my settings but it’s still appearing next to the contact name. I’ve been frustrated with not hearing the text messages. Help?

It seems you've hidden alerts for a specific contact and wish to disable that feature. We're happy to advise.
In your Messages app, tap on the thread for the contact in question, then tap Info at the top of the screen. In this panel you will have a variety of thread options including "Hide Alerts". Turning that switch off will restore your notifications from this contact.
