password on iPad when downloading new software
I am confused. What password does the iPad want me to use when I want to download a new release of software.
1 the password for my iPad
2 my apple password
or something else?

Thank you I have made a note of this. I am also conf used about the way to sign in when accessing Apple help. support and get the message "do you want to sign in to dims.apple.com with your Apple ID "*****@mac.com" " and ta line in red :use a different Apple ID"
I usually click "continue with password" and then I key in the password for my passcode for my iMac
