Depends on the browser or software using the plugin.

The easiest way is to go into Internet Plugins folder and simply remove it while booted into safe mode (holding the shift key at startup): Use Devon Technologies EasyFind if you have trouble locating the physical file.

Do not delete files you have no knowledge of their reason for existence. EasyFind exposes the system's inner components.
