My iwatch 4 is keeping my run information while I am running but is not recording the information to my phone. Anyone know what will cause this?

Please start with with checking if your watch is paired properly: If your Apple Watch isn't connected or paired with your iPhone - Apple Support
If you still have issues, check for interference: : Resolve Wi-Fi and Bluetooth issues caused by wireless interference - Apple Support
