How do I uninstall Opera safely? I rally doesn't want to download any kind of advertise Cleaner, whether free or one time fee.

It’s not necessary to download and install third party Mac, “cleaners”. Your Mac runs system maintenance in the background for you.

This party so called cleaners can cause far more harm than good.

Just drag the Opera app to the Trash then empty the Trash.

App Cleaner is useful. It's also one of the few apps that gets a nod here.

It is not a system wide cleaner, it's specifically geared to remove application specific components.
