David ~ There are several ways to play sounds in a personal automation and I've screenshot just one method below. It assumes you've put your mp3 ringtone in your iCloud Drive's Shortcuts folder. But I suggest you ask in this Shortcuts on Reddit community of experts who specialise in the Shortcuts app.
